OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to all workshops, courses, programmes, and materials provided by the Gratitude Habit Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). By registering for or participating in our services, you agree to the following terms.
Payment and Deposits
Payment Terms: Full payment is required prior to the commencement of any workshop, course, or programme, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Deposits: For certain programmes or events, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your place. Deposit amounts and due dates will be specified at the time of booking.
Quotes: Any quotes or proposals provided by The Gratitude Habit Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. After this period, pricing and availability may be subject to change.
Late Payment: We reserve the right to withhold access to services or materials until payment has been received in full.
Refunds and Cancellations
Our Refund Policy is outlined separately and forms part of these Terms and Conditions.
Refunds will only be issued in line with the refund policy in place at the time of purchase.
Cancellations by Participants
More than 7 days before the workshop: You may request a transfer to another date/programme, or a full refund (less any non-refundable deposit if applicable).
Between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop: Refunds are not available, but you may transfer your booking to another date or nominate someone else to attend in your place.
Less than 48 hours before the workshop / no-shows: No refunds or transfers will be offered.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, course content, manuals, worksheets, and associated resources (whether in digital or hard copy format) are the intellectual property of the Gratitude Habit Ltd.
Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, shared, sold, or distributed without our prior written consent.
You may take notes and use the provided resources for your own learning and development but may not use them to create your own workshops or programmes without permission.
Confidentiality
We respect the confidentiality of all participants and ask that you do the same. Any personal stories, discussions, or information shared during workshops or programmes must not be disclosed outside of the group.
We will not share your personal information with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
Liability
Our workshops and programmes are designed for educational and personal development purposes. They are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or financial advice.
By participating, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own wellbeing and decisions.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, the Gratitude Habit Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses arising from your participation in our services.
Use of Materials and Recordings
Some workshops may be recorded for training or marketing purposes. We will always advise in advance and seek your consent if you are identifiable in the recording.
Hard copy and digital materials provided are for your use only. You may not reproduce or distribute them beyond your own personal use.
Changes and Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to reschedule, postpone, or cancel a workshop or programme due to unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases, you will be offered the choice of a full refund or transfer to another date/programme.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
By registering in a workshop, course, or programme with the Gratitude Habit Ltd, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
OUR REFUND POLICY
At the Gratitude Habit Ltd, we stand behind the value of our workshops. If you feel the workshop has not met your expectations, we offer a full money-back guarantee under the terms outlined below.
Refund Period
- Refund requests must be made within 30 days of purchase or no later than 7 days after the final workshop session, whichever comes first.
Conditions for Refund
To be eligible for a refund, you must:
- Attend all sessions of the workshop and complete any required coursework where applicable.
- Provide a brief explanation of why the workshop did not meet your expectations, including what you expected versus what was delivered.
- Submit your request within the refund period.
Refunds are not available for:
- Participants who do not attend the workshop without prior notice (“no-shows”).
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time.
Exclusions
The money-back guarantee does not apply to:
- Workshops purchased with coupons, promotional discounts, or special offers.
- Sale or clearance items.
- Materials, resources, or consumables provided as part of the workshop (these are non-refundable).
- Courses or services with a separately stated guarantee period.
Refund Process
To request a refund:
- Email us at kiaora@gratitudehabit.co.nz with your name, workshop details, and reason for requesting a refund.
- If coursework is part of the workshop, please attach evidence of completion.
- Refunds will be processed within 10 business days of approval and returned to your original payment method.
Fees
- No processing fees are charged for refunds.
- For any physical goods shipped as part of the workshop, original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
- This refund policy is offered in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA) in New Zealand, which ensures services are delivered with reasonable skill and care, are fit for purpose, and meet the standards promised.
