Terms and Conditions

We want you to feel confident when you work with Gratitude Habit.

Below you'll find our Terms & Conditions which outline how we work, what you can expect from us and your rights as a participant. Our aim is to be transparent and fair, so you can focus on getting the most out of your workshop, course, or programme.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all workshops, courses, programmes, and materials provided by Gratitude Habit Ltd ("we", "our", "us"). By registering for or participating in our services, you agree to the following terms.

Payment and Deposits
  • Payment Terms: Full payment is required prior to the commencement of any workshop, course, or programme, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Deposits: For certain programmes or events, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your place. Deposit amounts and due dates will be specified at the time of booking.
  • Quotes: Any quotes or proposals provided by Gratitude Habit Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. After this period, pricing and availability may be subject to change.
  • Late Payment: We reserve the right to withhold access to services or materials until payment has been received in full.
Refunds and Cancellations
  • Refunds will only be issued in line with the refund policy in place at the time of purchase.
  • Cancellations by Participants:

    • More than 7 days before the workshop: You may request a transfer to another date/programme, or a full refund (less any non-refundable deposit if applicable).
    • Between 7 days and 48 hours before the workshop: Refunds are not available, but you may transfer your booking to another date or nominate someone else to attend in your place.
    • Less than 48 hours before the workshop / no-shows: No refunds or transfers will be offered.
  • Cancellations or Changes by Gratitude Habit:

    • On the very rare occasion we may need to cancel, postpone or reschedule a workshop, programme or event, for example, due to low enrolment numbers, facilitator illness, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other similar events. If this happens, we'll let you know as soon as possible and offer you either a transfer to an alternative date, or a full refund of any fees paid.
    • Where we reschedule an event, your original booking will automatically transfer to the new date unless you let us know you'd prefer a refund instead.
    • We're not liable for any other costs or losses you may incur as a result of a cancellation or reschedule (for example, travel or accommodation booked separately).
Copyright and Intellectual Property
  • All workshop materials, course content, manuals, worksheets, and associated resources (whether in digital or hard copy format) are the intellectual property of Gratitude Habit Ltd.
  • Materials are provided for personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, shared, sold, or distributed without our prior written consent.
  • You may take notes and use the provided resources for your own learning and development but may not use them to create your own workshops or programmes without permission.
Confidentiality and Privacy
  • We respect the confidentiality of all participants and ask that you do the same. Any personal stories, discussions, or information shared during workshops or programmes must not be disclosed outside of the group.
  • We collect and hold personal information (such as your name, contact details and any information you share with us) in line with the Privacy Act 2020, and will not share it with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
  • You can ask to see, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at kiaora@gratitudehabit.co.nz.
Use of Materials, Photographs, Recordings and Communications
  • Some workshops may be recorded for training or marketing purposes. We will always advise in advance and seek your consent if you are identifiable in the recording.
  • We may take photos, videos or other recordings during workshops, programmes and events, and use these for promotional, educational and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media and in future event advertising.
  • If you'd rather not appear in any photos or recordings, please let us know before the session starts. We'll do our best to accommodate this, though we can't guarantee you won't appear incidentally.
  • Hard copy and digital materials provided are for your use only. You may not reproduce or distribute them beyond your own personal use.
  • When you register for or attend a workshop, programme or event, we may contact you with related resources, updates and follow-up information. We may also let you know about future workshops, programmes or services you might find useful. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us directly.

Any decision on refunds or transfers in this situation will be at our discretion.
